4)

4) Who would be the audience for your media product?

Bellow are some images of colours i have used - the type of audience i want to relate to, for example bellow is a flyer for a T.Pain gig. Using a picture which is super imposed draws the readers eyes in etc:

DEADMAU5^^^
The picture above relates to my target audience as this is the sort of logo teenagers and young people would wear on their t-shirts. As i siad before the audience i want to achieve for my media product is teenagers to young people. Ruffly the age of 16-30 years old. I wasent aiming for any typical gender to aim my media product. Personally i would say it is aimmed at male young people, but that wasent my intenttion, thats just my own opinion with the final product. 70% of teenagers get a weekend job by the age of 16-18. This is why i have aimmed my media product at the price of £2.99 - meaning it is affordable for the reader, and also would give the distributer and edditing team, a gross profit and overall profit outcome. My product is popualarised with this audience through promo's and advertizing. it is a primary level of involvment. For these reasons this is my audience for my media product.

My audience references:

Beth Kavanagh (aged 17) female.
''This magazine has related well to the target audience. The colours are all reating back to eachother which is a good thing! Personally i really like it and would tell my friends it is really cool!''

Tom Sulavan (aged 19) male.
''This mag is sweet! it looks like a music mag which i would buy. I love the bold front cover - and using images of Deadmau5 as the main image is wicked because i have a mag at home, all about his new album and personally i prefer yours mate! The contents is also really cool, and looks pro.. i would have used more information on your double page spread but all in all it all adds up to being a wicked mag - and i would promote/advertise it if i could!''

Kate Swallow (aged 48) female.
''Your magazine is cool. Personally i wouldn't buy it as i dont think im hip enough to have this around my house! i only say this as your using slang and emphasisms from younger age groups, (which i dont understand!) although i would deffinatly buy this for my son, who is 16 coming up 17! he'd love it!''

Paul Jones (aged 35) male.
''This magazine is pritty cool man.. i would deffinatly buy it! but i think after a few more years i wouldnt. This is just because im trying to be up to date now, but in 5 years i wount have the time for it. I think im just about the top end of your target audience man, but it looks professional''
